North Hollywood Station

Electrical Building Systems, Inc. performed electrical engineering design, specifications, illumination, coordination for security, fire alarm, electrical, communications and grounding systems for this Subway station with canopy and parking facilities for 920 cars in North Hollywood.

Design was made with emphasis on The Client criteria, L.A. County, City and Community requirements. Use of Microstation CAD, project control and heavy emphasis on quality assurance was required.

The EBS Team obtained MTA permission to use canopy-mounted luminaires that were not part of the MTA lighting standards. Also, photometric analysis was performed to demonstrate performance of new luminaires.
