The Metropolitan Water District of Southern California is the largest municipal utility in the United States providing water to over 19 million people living in Southern California. The 12-Story Headquarters Building is located in front of Grand Park in Downtown Los Angeles. Electrical Building Systems, Inc. were electrical design engineers for the construction team of Catellus-Charles Pankow Builders.

Our company was tasked with the Tenant Improvement electrical engineering, construction design, and specifications for over 500,000 sq. ft. of tenant space. Performed control systems interface for emergency, HVAC, communications, computer, UPS, security systems and fire alarm systems.

Our services also included construction management support consisting of periodic site visits to review construction progress, report writing and coordination with construction manager.
