Electrical Building Systems, Inc. (“EBS”) is a minority-owned, small business company that combines the varied experience of its members in the fields of electrical engineering design and construction to offer a comprehensive scope of services in quality consulting engineering through creative, economical, and functional solutions.

EBS engineers have provided services to state, local and private sector clients, including, participating in groundbreaking projects for LACMTA ranging in costs of up to $2 billion. Beginning in 2014 with the Regional Connector Transit Corridor, we performed the electrical design of three, underground, light rail stations plus all electrical engineering design for the bored and cut and cover tunnels. In 2017, EBS began designing the Century City Constellation Station, an underground subway station, as part of the Westside Purple Line Extension Phase 2 project. Currently, we are designing the UCLA Station for the Westside Purple Line Extension Phase 3 project.

Our Engineering Team provides professional expertise with combined staff in management, technical and support personnel. The EBS team is structured to provide a full range of services to address all project requirements including:

  • Specific LACMTA experience.
  • Relevant experience in the design of various similar facilities
  • The capability to obtain pertinent reviews and approvals on a timely basis
  • The available resources and staff to begin work on any project immediately

Teo Dominguez

Principal Electrical Engineer, P.E.

Teo is a Project Manager/Principal with Electrical Building Systems, Inc. He has been with EBS since its inception and has more than 34 years of experience in the electrical engineering field. He is licensed in California as well as Arizona. Teo is currently a Member and former President of the Association of Consulting Electrical Engineers in Los Angeles and has also participated as a Board Member and Treasurer. Projects Teo has designed include underground and above-ground subway stations, bus and transit depots and maintenance facilities, schools and dormitories, country clubs, libraries, retail shopping centers and malls, fitness centers, office buildings, hospitals, dental and medical offices, restaurants, street lighting, mixed-use buildings, apartment complexes and residences, hotels, banks, credit unions, gas stations and car washes.

Paul J. Kass

Senior Electrical Engineer, P.E.

Paul is a Project Manager and Senior Electrical Engineer at Electrical Building Systems, Inc. He has over 25 years of experience in the electrical engineering field and has designed for commercial, industrial, medical, military and transportation facilities. His electrical designs have been integrated into a broad range of building sites in California. He has extensive experience in Construction Administration. Paul is licensed in California and Texas and maintains a California C-10 Electrical Contractor License.
